Liquid Crypto Insurance Terms and Conditions

Liquid Cryptoโ€™s DeFi insurance allows users to protect their transactions and assets through our smart contracted Swap and Bridge to ensure that users can have confidence that the amount displayed for each transaction will be the same as what will be received in their digital wallet.

1. Definitions:

Liquid Crypto is the provider of the insurance and is the owner of https://liquidcrypto.finance

Claim means

2. Coverage:

Liquid Cryptoโ€™s insurance will cover transactions made on the Liquid Crypto platform. The insurance will only cover Swap+ at: https://app.liquidcrypto.finance/swap and Bridge+ at: https://app.liquidcrypto.finance/bridge

A user must โ€˜opt inโ€™ to the insurance at the time of the transaction by checking the โ€œInsurance boxโ€ on the platform.

Insurance will be valid for a single transaction each time the Insurance checkbox is checked by the user prior to the completion of the transaction.

3. Exclusions:

Any fraudulent activity or intentional deception will automatically make the insurance void.

4. User Responsibilities:

Users must use the Liquid Crypto for the original intention of the platform, that is to swap and transfer cryptocurrency assets across blockchains.

If you fail in your duty, we may, where permitted by law, do either or both of these:

  • cancel your insurance

  • reduce the amount we pay you if you make a claim.

If your failure is fraudulent, we may refuse to pay a claim and treat the insurance cover as if it never existed.

5. Claims Process:

If a user does not receive the amount displayed when completing their transaction into their wallet, they may create a claim by filing out the claim form at: https://app.liquidcrypto.finance/insurance. The user will need to include all of the details of the transaction in the form of a TXID, their wallet address and email information in order to be eligible for the claim.

6. Claim Payment:

Once the claim has been processed and deemed valid, the user will receive the difference in the expected amount and the actual amount received to the same wallet that was used for the transaction. The claim payout will occur within 48 hours of the claim being approved by the claims officer.

7. Dispute Resolution:

Should you wish to dispute a insurance determination, you will need to submit a support ticket by clicking the help button on the platform within 7 days of the outcome. Failure to do so will result in the determination remaining as per the original decision.

8. Policy Modification and Termination:

Liquid Crypto retains the right to modify or terminate the offer of insurance at their discretion.

10. Governing Law:

The approval of a claim is entirely at the discretion of Liquid Crypto. Should any dispute arise, the claim will be governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

The information provided in these terms and conditions does not constitute legal advice. The user is obliged to get any legal advice about this offering of insurance at their own discretion.
